CASH VERIFICATION TEAM (Offering Counters) — We are required to have two non-related people count the offering each week. We have recently made changes to make this job easier. Counters no longer need to put in all of the account code numbers. All that is required is to verify the total amount of cash and the total amount of checks. Counters may also count between the services or on Mondays.

GREETERS — Greeters stand at the front door or north door and greet both members and visitors as they arrive and make them feel welcome. We would like to have 3 greeters for each service, 2 for the front door and 1 for the north door.

USHERS — Ushers hand out bulletins as people enter the sanctuary and help take the offering at the first service. They also help dismiss rows during Communion.

NURSERY — Until we are able to hire a permanent second nursery worker, we continue to need volunteers to help in the nursery each Sunday.

CHILDREN'S CHURCH — Helpers can either assist or lead the Children’s church program for that Sunday. All lessons are already picked out and ready to go.

YOUTH — Youth helpers are needed to attend the Youth Sunday school class so there will be a second adult present.

VISITATION TEAM — visits our church members who are sick, hospitalized, in a nursing home, or are unable to attend church.

CHURCH BUS — Drivers pick up and take home those who need a ride to church on Sunday mornings.

LIFE OF A SINGLE MOM — Helpers are needed for several areas: making meals, set up and clean up, or helping in the nursery.

SOUND BOOTH — We are looking for a few people to help run the sound board or the computer for the projection slides. These jobs are easier than they sound and we are willing to train you.
